Narrative workshop today.

 We had to use the words given to make a quick short story. Mine is about a boy leaving everything to the last minute and heavily regrets it. (it's small, so some sentences don't make sense Haha)

gasteracantha cancriformis

A cropped section of my entry for the Illustraciencia Scientific Illustration contest. (sorry for the watermark) First time trying scientific illustrations so fingers crossed,wish me luck!


I chose the gasteracantha cancriformis (Orb-weaver spider). Their name is from the spikes that are found on their abdomen. The females are larger and have a more colourful abdomen with 6 spikes. Not harmful to us humans! They are mostly found in florida, but there are some in East Malaysia! :)

The media plays a big role in society. I feel that it has conformed us in one way or another. We have to fit in somehow or another. Because that's 'normal' right?

Exciting news! I got shortlisted for a UWE reportage award to proceed to the next judging!

My reportage entry is 'The Waiting Game'

The waiting game is about what we often do while we’re waiting. Either to reach our destinations ( in public transport ) or while we wait upon our orders ( food / drinks )
I chose to illustrate what people do during these candid times of boredom.

it's time to take your bow. 

It's a little sad and disappointing how Z nowadays take for granted what's precious and give it all away so freely. They have such a nonchalant , live in the moment attitude, but what happens when youth ends? One should never regret your choices later on.

who is this

I tried to run from it and deny it, but now when I look at myself, I think. Who is this? I promised myself I'd remain the same that nothing would change but what...have I become? It consumed me from the inside out and so steadily it progressed that I've just realized that I'm not who I used to be.


All I would say now is 'Oui, D'accord et desole'. I'm in charge of my own happiness, I will now fight this monster that I myself cultivated.

Just a quick one. I passed by the field and that's where I felt spring was here. Yellow was seen.

This was my interpretation of the cafe at the National Gallery in Dublin. The cafe had unique decorations of lightbulbs from branches and had little trees / plants all around. It was beautiful. 

breakfast : day 2

Day 2 Breakfast my accommodation's cafe (The Townhouse). 

They said it was a full irish breakfast consisting of f toast, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, fried egg, sausage, blood sausage, spiced sausage, bacon and tea/coffee.

 IT WAS GLORIOUS!
